Energy Savings Assistance (ESA) Whole Home Program

ESPAÑOL

The ESA Whole Home Pilot is approaching its planned conclusion and is no longer accepting new projects due to limited remaining funding and the CPUC’s decision to sunset the pilot at the end of 2026.

We understand this may be disappointing for customers who were interested in participating. SCE and SoCalGas remain committed to supporting income-qualified customers through available energy assistance programs and helping reduce household energy costs.

What This Means for You

  • Completed projects: No action is required.
  • Projects in progress: A program representative will contact you regarding next steps and project status.
  • Interested customers not yet scheduled for installation: Your project may be impacted by funding limitations and may not move forward under the pilot.
  • Future assistance opportunities: Customers may have future opportunities to receive services through SCE’s standard Energy Savings Assistance (ESA) Program, subject to funding availability, eligibility requirements, and regulatory approval.
  • Other programs: Customers may continue to explore other SCE and SoCalGas assistance programs for which they may qualify.
